Copeland Productions is hiring for the role of Producer / Editor. 

 

In this position, you will be responsible for managing and/or assisting the development of various video content, from pre-production to post-production. You should have innovative, visual storytelling skills and know how to work both collaboratively and independently to create and edit original, dynamic and engaging videos. You should possess the drive, desire, and follow-through to do right by people and their stories.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be organized, driven and quick to adapt

• Must be self-disciplined, with the ability to multi-task, schedule, organize, and monitor various projects simultaneously to meet production schedules with tight deadlines

• Ability to conceptualize and assist in writing scripts and storyboarding 

• Ability to communicate with clients

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

• Ability to collaborate on creative concepts for marketing campaigns

• Proficiency in post production software (Adobe Premiere and After Effects preferred)

• On set experience preferred, but not required

• Experience working with lighting and grip equipment preferred, but not required

• Experience operating DSLR, mirrorless, and / or cinema cameras preferred, but not required

 

Job Responsibilities:
 

• Organize and monitor various projects simultaneously ensuring production schedules are met

• Collaborate and work with teams and clients to complete goals, projects and tasks

• Pre-production planning including scheduling, scripting, treatment/proposal writing

• Communicate with clients 

• Offload and organize footage

• Editing and data organization
